After much thought and research, we decided to purchase a trailer that had exactly what we wanted rather than buy a cheaper trailer and modify it to what we wanted. We knew it would cost a little more but we felt that it would be worth it in the long run. Also, we had no welding experience so building one ourselves was out of the question. We chose a company about 2 hours away that had suppled another builder from the forum we belong to. The builder was Diamond C Trailers and their link is on our Links page. Our point man was Kevin and he was very helpful. We ordered a standard 2 wheel 5x10 trailer. It has 15" tires, a 3,500# axle and wiring in conduit. We upgraded to LED lights, an 18" longer tongue with diamond plate and a flip jack. The price was very reasonable for a well built trailer. The trailer has a VIN and a title and they took care of the registration. We drove it off the lot on May 17, 2008.
